Getting the first job opportunity is not easy, especially when most vacancies ask for previous experience even for internship vacancies. Experience is important, but it is not the only requirement for developer vacancies. There are many other ways to demonstrate capacity. And to help you differentiate yourself from so many other developers I will share with you these 5 ways to contrast yourself in a selection process without having previous experience!

Last Friday, I completed one year that I am living in the Netherlands. That was very quick, and it made me very thoughtful about what this whole process of change was like for me, the things I gave up, and the things I gained from all of it.

Last week I did a presentation about career and front-end development in Europe for Faculdade Alfa, a University in Brazil. I talked about the skills needed to become a highly qualified front-end developer and how to improve and raise the level of those skills. But as this presentation is entirely in Brazilian Portuguese, I wrote this post in English with my best tips for you to improve your technical skills.
